Payments & Orders
What forms of payment can I use?
We currently accept all major credit and debit cards, international credit/debit cards, domestic Paypal accounts, and Apple Pay.
I have a gift card or promotion code. How do I apply it to my order?
At checkout, enter the gift card or discount code in the marked field and click “apply”
What if I need to change my order?
Please contact info@larkspurandhawk.com immediately if you need to change your order. Once we have shipped your order, we are not able to make any changes or cancellations.
Can I place a special order?
Larkspur & Hawk is unique in our ability to offer a wide range of colors and materials, yet it would be impossible to have all color and style combinations readily available. As such, on a case-by-case basis we offer to work with clients on custom designs. Please let us know what you are interested in and we would love to work with you to create a special piece of jewelry.
Special orders that are accepted may incur an extra design fee and must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Special orders may take up to 8 weeks and may not be returned, as they are final sale. Please use our contact form for special requests.
Process:
- Client selects a silhouette
- Client selects a stone (white quartz or amethyst for example)
- Client selects a metal (black rhodium washed silver, yellow gold washed silver, 14K, or 18K gold)
- Client selects a foil color (reference our color palette) link to color palette
- We are happy to offer custom necklace and bracelet lengths as well as ring sizes
Shipping
What Shipping Service Do You Use?
Larkspur & Hawk ships all orders via FedEx. Customers’ FedEx charges will be clearly shown at the time of ordering.
Do You Ship to PO Boxes?
We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Do You Offer International Shipping?
We ship internationally via FedEx. Except during periods of special shipping promotions, as indicated by a banner on our homepage, all destination country taxes, tariffs and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser, and are not included in the FedEx rate that is provided at time of checkout.
Should the customer refuse to pay the taxes and tariffs required, resulting in forfeiture of the package at the customs office of the recipient country, the customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping to Larkspur & Hawk.
When will my order ship?
Larkspur & Hawk ships packages from Monday 9:00 AM until Friday 4:00 PM. Overnight orders will be attended to the next business day. Most items will ship within 2 days, provided the items are in stock. If an item is not immediately available, a representative will contact you with an estimated delivery date.
How Can I Track the Status of My Order?
Please track your package online at www.fedex.com/trackto monitor your package’s progress. On occasion there is a delay in shipping based on packing or availability of product.
Returns
What is Your Return Policy?
Larkspur & Hawk offers a customer-friendly return policy that allows shoppers to receive and live with their new pieces. However if for any reason a customer is less than thrilled with a purchase, it may be returned for a full refund.
To qualify for a full refund, a return request must be made within 14 days of the customer’s receipt and be in the items’ original and unused condition. All returns must include the original receipt. Larkspur & Hawk will not be responsible for items lost during shipping.
Holiday Returns - For all December sales, the return window is extended until January 8th, 2025.
Larkspur & Hawk does not offer returns on the following items:
- Custom pieces
- Special orders
- Custom sizing
- Final sale items

Product Care
How do I care for my jewelry?
As collectors of Larkspur & Hawk understand, our items are all handmade, and are therefore all slightly different. Whether it is the finish, the foil hues, or the specific sizes, we expect and embrace subtle variations. Further, as our pieces are worn, patinas will evolve, further personalizing each piece. Due to the nature of foiled jewelry, care must be taken in order to keep Larkspur & Hawk pieces from becoming damaged.
Here are a few top tips to ensure your jewelry lasts for generations to come:
- Our foils are all specially treated to resist damage, but excessive water immersion is not recommended. Do not immerse foiled jewelry in cleaning solvents.
- If water gets caught behind the stones it will evaporate.
- As with all fine jewelry, soap and lotions should be avoided because they will cloud the stones.
- Do not apply perfume or hair spray while wearing the jewelry as this can discolor the finish and foils.
- To clean the jewelry, use a soft polishing cloth and gently wipe the surface.
How should I store my jewelry?
All Larkspur & Hawk jewelry comes presented in our signature packaging. We recommend storing your jewelry in our distinctive red pouches when not being worn.
Do you offer repairs?
Online customers:
Customers in need of a repair should contact repairs@larkspurandhawk.com. Please include your name, return email address, telephone number, item name, order number, a description of the problem and a photo of the piece. Upon receipt of this information the Larkspur & Hawk repair team will assist in diagnosing the problem and determining the appropriate solution.
Larkspur & Hawk will repair at no charge any breakage caused by manufacturer defect within 120 days of receipt. Repairs needed after 120 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge at the customer’s expense. Repair pricing varies based on the type of product, material, and/or gemstone. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis and communicated prior to the repair process beginning.
Retailer / Stockist customers:
Customers who have purchased an item from one of our network of fine retailers or stockists should return their damaged item to the shop where it was purchased. Many of our dealers have repair policies which we honor. Please note that we cannot offer repairs for items purchased from an unauthorized seller.

What is foiling?
At Larkspur & Hawk we use specially treated, colored, metallic foils to add magical light and color to each of our designs.
Foiling came into style in the Georgian era as a means for enhancing the color and light of gemstones. As in the 18th century, the foils allow for a palette that is both unique, and glowing, and just as the Georgian woman’s face was illuminated by foiled stones, so too can the modern woman’s face.
What materials do you use?
Larkspur & Hawk jewelry features all precious and semi-precious stones. The facet and cut of the stones are of particular interest for achieving the desired play of light and color. Some styles are more monochromatic while others have a dramatic shift in color.
In the 18th century, silver was used for both precious and semi-precious jewelry. At Larkspur & Hawk, we always enjoy referencing and paying homage to the past and as such, we have followed the tradition of gold washed sterling silver. In our work, we often completely cover the silver with a thick 18k yellow or rose gold wash or offer black- or white-rhodium washed sterling silver.
What if I am having trouble deciding on a color?

Do you offer clip-on earrings?
Some earring styles can accommodate clip-on fittings and can be special ordered. Please contact us for more information info@larkspurandhawk.com.
