Antique Cluster Flower Earrings, ca 1800
Our Notes
The cluster is Georgian craftsmanship at its finest. Take smaller white paste stones, none impressive alone, and arrange them into a radiating composition, and suddenly they create the visual impact of a single large stone. Additionally, the crimped silver collet settings are a hallmark of the Georgian period. White paste, inspired by diamonds, glittered slightly differently. The stones were hand-cut with high crowns and small tables to catch flickering candlelight.
The inverted flower design is so charming and really stands out on the ear. These earrings are a great example of Georgian craftsmanship, ingenuity, and design.

As our jewelry is worn, patinas will evolve, further personalizing them to each collector. Due to the nature of foiled jewelry, care should be taken in order to keep Larkspur & Hawk jewelry from becoming harmed. A few tips:
- Remove jewelry when applying lotions, soaps and perfume
- Remove jewelry before immersing hands in cleaning solvents or liquids
